Specialty Program Titled: Pumps and Filters: An In-depth Look at the Cardiovascular and Renal Systems
This
year's nine-hour advanced program was devoted to the discussion of
heart and renal disease in the avian patient, how to diagnose it,
classify it, and possibly treat it. These two organ systems are still
the most difficult to fully evaluate, but new technology continues to
improve our chances of giving these avian patients a longer, better
quality of life.
The
morning session was devoted to avian heart disease and the afternoon
session was devoted to disease of the avian urinary system. The
following summaries incorporate more than one lecture, but from the
same author.
When
the numbers are RED the lectures will be available for viewing. Click
