Dr. Larry Nemetz attended the annual conference of the Association of Avian Veterinarians. Dr. Nemetz has attended this conference every year since 1988 to bring back to his clients the latest technology the world has to offer. This year Dr. Nemetz will lecture for two hours on how to get avian surgical patients to survive the procedure.
Clients always ask us when moving how to find a new avian veterinarian. The AAV ( AAV.org ) is the single best source to find members that have an interest in avian medicine. Each member has varied experience in dealing with the thousands of species of the avian class, but the AAV directory is the best starting point in finding an avian veterinarian in your area. Together with local referral sources, we have found most of clients have been satisfied with their selection for a local veterinarian to treat their beloved pet bird.
